Nov 15, 2008 · With the DualShock 4 turned off, hold down the PlayStation and Share buttons for three seconds until the light bar starts double flashing. This means it's in Bluetooth pairing mode. Right-click on the Bluetooth icon in your system tray and click Add a Bluetooth Device. Select Wireless Controller and wait for it to pair.

Dec 20, 2003 · 2. Open your Bluetooth properties and select "Add Device" so your PC will scan for it. It will come up as "Wireless Controller". Select to pair with that device. Now normally mice and controllers pair by bluetooth automatically with no need for authentication, but it seems that the PS4 controller is different.

USB also has power and ground, but uses two data lines, self-clocked, with differential signaling. Power can draw up to 500 mA. The low-level wire protocols are between USB and PS/2 are different.

Jun 16, 2022 · The controller has a USB-C port and comes with a C to A cable. So, you can get a USB-A extension cable. The PS5 has controller options for how the controller works, when connected with a wire. You can tell the controller to connect to the PS5 wirelessly (Its bluetooth) for play and only use the cable for power/charging.

The Pro was for anyone who wanted more performance and/or graphical fidelity while regular gamers just stuck to their PS4. It would be the same for the PS5. The article says it would tentatively launch in Q4 2024. That’s still 1.5 years away.
