Aug 10, 2021 · You should never buy the elite strap, I more expensive and worse quality than third party straps from Amazon. if you get one with a battery it costs 120$ and i got a battery pack for 30 so you are paying 90 for a peace of plastic. I've tried the elite and two others from Amazon.

Nov 17, 2021 · If you buy the Elite, buy a KiwiVR Elite strap, not official Oculus one. The Kiwi version is better in every respect. It doesn't come with a battery, but there's plenty of room on the back to tape your own with adhesive velcro strips or zip ties or whatever. The Oculus original Elite straps use garbage materials and are constantly breaking.

Dec 25, 2021 · All my Quest friends have the Elite strap as well any there is 1 case among them of a broken strap that Oculus replaced. All of us have been pleased with Elite. I would not agree with you saying folks should not consider the Elite strap. Given all of that, My wife now has her own Quest 2 and we are considering alternatives straps.

Aug 12, 2021 · The Oculus Quest 2 + Elite Headstrap only fit in the original case when the strap is tightened to a certain degree. Certainly this can not be the issue. They were literally designed to be stored like this. PS. IF ANYONE KNOWS A FIX, PM ME!!! (replacement/refund is not an option for me right now.)

I don't see how it's able to keep it up at 100% , this is just based on the number. A lot of people using third party Q2 battery have noticed it wasn't able to keep the battery at 100%. Reply.
Elite Strap won’t stay tight, knob loosens during use
Sep 7, 2021 · I have the Elite Strap with battery, it’s fairly new (just a few weeks old). No over-tightening. Whenever using for more active games (eg Pistol Whip), it loosens on its own and I have to repeatedly reach back to tighten the knob while playing. Pretty annoying.
