The next one is referral codes which give you your first box (up to 5 boxes of 2 serving size meals) completely free except you pay for shipping on that one box. The discount gives a flat $120 off of your box, meaning any combination that is under $120 will be completely free. Roughly, this means you can select either 2 servings and 5 meals, OR 4 servings and 3 meals. In my opinion, the best offer is 2 servings, 6 meals. You have to pay an additional $3, but you get and entirely extra meal.

I decided to try out the four meals for two (8 meals total) as my first purchase. When I entered the code at checkout, it offered the discount as a lowered “price per serving” instead of making all 8 meals free.

The "free meals" are calculated as the total discount from full price. But it's a little shady. They calculate the discounts from the 6 days x 4 people plan...but compare it to the 3 days x 2 people plan.
