I bought Minecraft Java but it only shows the demo?
Jan 10, 2024 · I just bought minecraft for my windows laptop. Nowadays you get both bedrock and Java. Bedrock works fine, but when I try Java it says I haven't bought it and that I can only play the demo. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Feb 28, 2014 · It's because the demo is just to show you how the game is like, it's not the full game experience BUT, there's a way around, if you press Esc and start a LAN world and turn cheats on, you can do /gamemode 1 to put on creative mode.

Apr 13, 2014 · Yes, if you use the seed -343522682 with MC version 1.7 or above the coordinate 1300, -1800 is a forest. I repeat, you have to set up a profile for MC version 1.6.4 or earlier and play that profile, then create the world with that seed.

Trying the minecraft Demo...and it won't work.
Oct 14, 2014 · I try and play the demo of minecraft on the minecraft website just to see how it will run on my computer and I can't get it to work. I tried to play the demo first through my chrome browser, it asked me to update Java which I thought was weird because I have already done so in the past. So I updated and reloaded the page.

Dec 26, 2021 · The MultiMC chat suggested I should try the Minecraft launcher to fix things. Right now the Minecraft launcher (Java edition on Linux) only shows me the "play demo" option; after the holidays I will try the Minecraft launcher on my Windows PC again.
