The basic ESV text largely coincides with Catholic translation policy as found in 'Liturgicam authenticam', which is exactly why the ESV was so appealing - it is literal, accurate, and literary at the same time.

Here is one with the NIV, NLT, NASB, and KJV: KJV, NASB, NIV, & NLT Today's Parallel Bible Hardcover: 9780310918363: Christianbook.com I think the problem you will run into with the particular choices you have is that the ESV is in so few parallel Bibles.
NASB, NKJV or ESV? Which Translation is The Best?
Jun 19, 2014 · It's my standard go-to translation. Though I have also used and enjoy the NRSV. I like the ESV because I think it marries solid translation with ease of language quite well. It's at least as solid in its translation as the other two, and it's less clunky (I think at least) than the NKJV and NASB. -CryptoLutheran.

And then I get scared, anxious, nervous, and I begin doing research, and sure enough, I find that many people believe that that particular translation is of the devil and inaccurate.
