With this Vande Bharat Express train's operation, passengers between New Delhi and Varanasi can now choose a faster commute between the two cities.

The number of Vande Bharat trains plying in Maharashtra increased to eleven as Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off three new services via video link from Ahmedabad.

Operating six days a week, this express train covers a distance of 575 km (357 miles) in an impressive travel time of just 7 hours and 15 minutes, averaging a speed of 79 km/h.
