The character has been adapted by Zack Snyder in his DCEU film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, the monster seen in the film was not the real Doomsday, who was found in the depths of Krypton and was only bestowed feelings of hate. In the film, he was the result of experimentation by Lex Luthor on the corpse of General Zod.
