An 18-year-old along with seven juveniles, one as young as 12-years-old, have been arrested in connection with more than 20 retail thefts, San Francisco police announced Thursday.

San Francisco police said they have arrested eight retail suspects as young as 12 years old, who they believe are responsible for 23 incidents at various Walgreens' stores totaling more than $84,000 in stolen merchandise.

Police in San Francisco earlier this week arrested a woman suspected in an October retail smash-and-grab robbery in which one of the suspect’s vehicles backed into the doors of a luxury store in Union Square to gain entry.
