Hardly in need of an introduction, U.S. women's rugby player Ilona Maher will get one anyway when her new team in England presents the Olympic bronze medalist to fans.

Ilona Maher, the world’s most-followed rugby player on social media, has joined Premiership Women’s Rugby club Bristol Bears on a three-month contract. Maher, 28, travelled to Bristol to complete her move this week and will be registered to play for her new club from January over the remaining three months of the season.

Ilona Maher recently emerged as the runner-up of Dancing with the Stars Season 33 alongside Allan Bersten. After successful stints with dancing, she has finally returned to her roots, which is her rugby game.
