Completing one of the most remarkable one-year turnarounds in school history, Lehigh beat rival Lafayette 38-14 Saturday before a sellout crowd of 15,097 at Goodman Stadium to win take the 160th edition of college football’s most-played rivalry, and perhaps, more importantly, win the Patriot League title.

The Lehigh University students pulled, yanked and tugged with all their might to topple the goal post at the south end of Goodman Stadium after they watched gleefully as the Mountain Hawks throttled archrival Lafayette 38-13 in the 160th renewal of college football’s most played rivalry Saturday afternoon.
