The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of both countries are set to hold talks on the India-Pakistan ceasefire. The DGMOs of both countries spoke on Saturday, May 10, and agreed to halt all military action from 5pm IST.

Retaliating against the Pahalgam terror attack, Indian armed forces on early Wednesday carried out missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base in Muridke.

People in Kashmir say they are relieved but uneasy after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire. The deal was intended to defuse the worst military confrontation between the two countries in decades.
