Even Martha Stewart messes up sometimes. The 83-year-old domestic doyenne put everyone to shame when she revealed she spent two days baking 35 pies for Thanksgiving; however, she made one major mistake.

"I used three big ovens which are a mess now because I stupidly forgot to place cookie sheets under some of the pies which bubbled and oozed everywhere,” Stewart admitted. Despite the mess, she celebrated the final results, writing, “the pies are delicious!”

Martha Stewart spoke with Food & Wine about how she's celebrating Thanksgiving this year. Instead of a turkey and traditional meal, she's flying with her family to Rome to eat pasta and white truffles.
