Storm Conall brings flooding to London as warning issued - It comes days after Storm Bert brought widespread chaos, flooding homes, roads and railway lines

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain which will cause disruption to places like Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, London and southern Devon from 10pm this evening until midday tomorrow.

The environment secretary Steve Reed also warned more flooding is “likely” this week, although the impact “should be less severe” after at least two people died during the storm. Two yellow weather warnings for potentially heavy rain will be in place in parts of London,

Another named storm is set to hit parts of the UK on Wednesday, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. Up to 50mm of rain is expected across southern England, including parts of south London, following the Met Office's issuance of a new yellow weather warning.
