India pacer Harshit Rana has played down the on-field banter he had with Mitchell Starc during Day 2 of the Perth Test on Saturday, November 23. Harshit delivered a barrage of short balls to Starc, which forced the Aussie pacer to remind Harshit that he 'bowls quicker than him.

During the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth, a fiery exchange occurred between Indian debutant Harshit Rana and Australian pacer Mitchell Starc. As Rana peppered Starc with bouncers,

Mitchell Starc reminded Harshit Rana that he bowls faster than him, after the latter delivered a barrage of short balls during the Perth Test.

India bowled out for 150 in their 1st innings of the maiden Test match against Australia at Optus Stadium. Jasprit Bumrah tortured the Australian batting line-up, compiling amazing figures of 5 for 29 at the time of writing with the crucial wickets.

Rana, however, just laughed at it and went on about his business. Later in the session, Rana eventually got the wicket of Starc as he finished with 3/48 in his maiden Test innings.
