Firefighters are battling a structure fire in Stafford. The fire started in a garage at 13 Goodell Road, spreading to the home.

Firefighters are battling an early morning fire in at 54 Broad Street Downtown Waterford. It broke out around 4 a.m. Our crew on scene could see heavy smoke on arrival. A witness provided us with video where she says her neighbor ran across the street to assist a couple and children whom already escaped and were on the sidewalk.

They were able to knock the fire down fairly quickly. They reported that no one was hurt. The cause of the fire remained under investigation as of Wednesday morning.
