Martin Brundle believes Max Verstappen is likely to stay at Red Bull next season following the news that Christian Horner has been relieved of his duties as the team’s F1 CEO. Horner, 51, has been in charge of Red Bull Racing since its inception in 2005 but will be replaced by former Racing Bulls team principal Laurent Mekies after a shock announcement on Wednesday morning.

Red Bull Racing announced Wednesday that CEO Christian Horner is departing the team after 20 years at the helm.

F1 legend Martin Brundle has suggested that the discontent from Max Verstappen 's side of the Red Bull garage has played a key role in Christian Horner's exit from the team. Horner was removed from his role as Red Bull team principal with immediate effect on Wednesday morning.
