A person is dead after a crash on the 183A Toll Road in Cedar Park Tuesday morning, the Cedar Park Police Department confirmed to KXAN.

CEDAR PARK, Texas - One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a deadly crash in Cedar Park, police said. Cedar Park police said in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Nov. 26, officers responded to a crash on US 183A Toll Road near the Park Street overpass involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle.

The Cedar Park Police Department said around 8:50 a.m. that it is investigating the crash on the toll road near the Brushy Creek/Park Street overpass. The department told KVUE that the driver of the truck died, and the motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with significant injuries but is expected to survive.

The crash happened at the intersection of Bemidji Road Northeast and Island View Drive Northeast near Turtle River in Beltrami County around 10:40 a.m.

Two people were seriously injured after a crash on northbound I-55 Tuesday. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims died at the hospital. The crash closed the highway past Butler Hill Road at around 10:30 a.
