The Texas Department of Public Safety issued the notice Friday morning over a suspect accused of shooting a law enforcement officer.

Authorities sent a Blue Alert to cell phones across Texas Friday morning for a man they allege was involved in the injury of a law enforcement officer. Seth Altman, 33, was last seen in the 200 block of South 4th St.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the alert was issued for Seth Altman, 33, of Memphis, for "the killing or serious injury of an officer" in Hall County, which sits in the panhandle, just southeast of Amarillo.
