AMC Theatres in Ohio and across the country to prohibit singing, wailing, flirting during "Wicked" screenings as part of its distraction-free policy.

Theater kids have been singing during screenings of Wicked, and AMC isn’t having it. With the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical—starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande—set to appear in theaters across the U.

"At AMC Theatres, silence is golden," the 30-second Wicked warning says, per The Indianapolis Star . "No talking. No texting. No singing. No wailing. No flirting. And absolutely no name-calling. Enjoy the magic of movies."
