Over a month after sacking boss Teresa Weatherspoon, the Chicago Sky appear to have found their next head coach. The Sky are hiring Las Vegas Aces assistant Tyler Marsh as their next head coach, according to a Saturday afternoon report from Bobby Marks and Alexa Philippou of ESPN.

"The Chicago Sky organization is proud to welcome our next head coach Tyler Marsh to Skytown,” a team spokesperson said Saturday night. “Coach Marsh is widely respected for the development of elite players and shares our goal of being a playoff and championship contender every year.

The long WNBA offseason has officially begun, and there will be more activity than usual this winter. Not only because of the upcoming expansion draft to fill out the Golden State Valkyries roster, but also due to the unusual number of coaching changes.

One more WNBA franchise is jumping off the coaching carousel as the Chicago Sky hire Tyler Marsh to a multi-year deal to be their head coach, a league source confirmed to on Saturday. ESPN was the first to report.
