Donald Trump criticized Caitlin Clark's WNBA salary as unfair, addressing the disparity with NBA rookie contracts.

It was hard not to get caught up in Clark-mania during the 2024 season, and Trump was among the people who kept tabs on her strong season. While he admired what Clark did on the floor for the Fever, he said that her rookie contract is "unfair" based on how much she's making, and what she's doing for her team on a nightly basis.

Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White has two assignments — similar yet vast — in her new job. The first is to develop the Fever’s young talent, notably star Caitlin Clark, so the team wins games and contends for championships because that would be ideal for the franchise.

Stephanie White was introduced as coach of the Indiana Fever on Monday, and she was flanked by Fever general manager Amber Cox and team president Kelly Krauskopf. The dais alone is an indication the Fever are serious about not just replicating their 2012 championship season, but exceeding it.
