White, who spent the last two seasons coaching the Connecticut Sun, has deep roots in the state of Indiana. The West Lebanon native played her collegiate ball at Purdue, then four seasons with the Fever at the WNBA level. She first joined the Fever as an assistant coach in 2011 before she was elevated to head coach for the 2015-16 seasons.
