The e-commerce giant also launched a private label grocery brand called Amazon Saver alongside new carts, grab-and-go options and self-checkouts.

Amazon Fresh opened its second Northern California location on Thursday in Elk Grove. The store, located at 7530 Elk Grove Boulevard, will open around 8 a.m. with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. Regular store hours will be 8 a.

The first Amazon Fresh store in San Bernardino County is celebrating its grand opening Thursday. The festivities were marked with a ribbon cutting at the new Fontana location at 16188 S. Highland Ave.
