Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey is nearing a return to the court from a sprained left ankle suffered on Nov. 17 against the Nuggets.

Memphis Grizzlies rookie center Zach Edey is close to a return. Edey has missed the past five games while dealing with an ankle injury. The injury was suffered against the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 17. Before the injury, Edey had four consecutive games with at least double figures in scoring and at least three offensive rebounds.

Injuries have been a constant theme for the Memphis Grizzlies the last two seasons. Star point guard Ja Morant has headlined this, playing just nine games last season and already missing 10 games this season.
