Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he will be waiting for Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Turkish capital this week to conduct face-to-face talks about the more than 3-year war

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy raised the stakes ahead of a potential meeting with Vladimir Putin in Turkey by saying he wouldn't hold talks with any Russian representative other than the president himself. Zelenskyy said he would travel to Turkey after US President Donald Trump urged him to meet Putin.

Zelenskyy’s adviser, Mykhailo Podolyak, said on Tuesday that the Ukrainian President has no plans to meet with any Russian officials other than President Putin.
