Police on Friday arrested the husband of a woman missing since Nov. 22 on allegations of second-degree murder — weeks after she petitioned for divorce against him.

Fournier, who reportedly went missing while hiking with her two dogs in Welches, Ore., more than a week ago, has been arrested for murder, authorities said Friday.

A body found in the Welches area Friday was identified as a 61-year-old woman initially believed to have gone missing while hiking in the Mt. Hood area.

She vanished on a hike with her dogs, but a chilling twist now has her husband facing murder charges—and the dogs are still missing.
