AUSTIN, Texas (KTRE) - Serena Ward of Martinsville won the bronze medal in the girls 1A 400 meters. The senior finished with a time of 1:01.17, less than two seconds behind the winner.

Kaitlyn Collins of Wells has won the silver medal in the girls 100-meter hurdles at the state championships in Austin.
