After launching its new STLA Frame platform on Tuesday, Tavares confirmed that Ram’s first electric pickup will be delayed until the first half of 2025.

Stellantis said on Tuesday it will deploy a new vehicle system that will support assembly of gasoline, hybrid and electric models, but in a sign of how turbulent the electric-vehicle transition is, the automaker also delayed production of Ram electric pickup trucks.

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV electric pickup won't be available until sometime during the first half of 2025 after automaker Stellantis earlier announced it would be available at the end of 2024.
