Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday lauded the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance's massive victory in the Maharashtra assembly polls as a win for development and good governance, assuring people of the ruling bloc's continued work for the state's progress.

Addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters on November 23 after the assembly election victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Maharashtra has broken all records and “it is the biggest win for any party or pre-poll alliance in last 50 years”.
