The European Space Agency admitted that ISRO's PSLV is a more cost-effective alternative to its own heavy-lift Ariane-6 and medium-lift Vega-C rockets. The three instruments onboard Proba-3 will help unravel the scientific mystery of why the solar corona is significantly hotter than the sun itself.

Scheduled for December 4, the mission will be launched aboard the PSLV rocket, aiming to revolutionise space research by enabling real-time data processing in orbit.

The Proba-3 mission continues ESA's suite of solar missions, following the successful launches of Proba-1 (2001) and Proba-2 (2009), which were also launched by ISRO.
