Tight end George Kittle and cornerback Charvarius Ward were surprise no-shows at Thursday’s practice, sidelined by leg injuries that suddenly put their availability in question for the 49ers’ game Sunday at the Los Angeles Rams.

Already without two of their most important players, the San Francisco 49ers added two more key names to the injury report Thursday when tight end George Kittle and cornerback Charvarius Ward did not participate in practice.

The injuries are coming fast and furious for the 49ers. On the same day tight end George Kittle didn’t practice due to a hamstring issue, cornerback Charvarius Ward also missed practice. Officially, Ward has a hamstring and knee injury.
