Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray is leading with nearly 300 votes in Mumbai's Worli assembly constituency. He is contesting against ruling Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha member Milind Deora. Thackeray is seeking a reelection from the seat.

In the 2019 Maharashtra assembly election, Aditya Thackeray polled over 69 per cent votes, defeating NCP's Suresh Mane.

Of the six major parties in the fray in these Maharashtra elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) had contested the greatest number of seats in Mumbai, 22.

While Aaditya Thackeray from the Uddhav camp entered the fray to lay claim to the seat once again, Milind Deora from the Shinde faction came to give a fight.  However, after a see-saw contest, Thackeray clinched the seat once again leaving Deora biting the dust.
