If you’ve been thinking of becoming a Walmart+ member and want to start your holiday shopping early, now is the perfect time. That's because the retailer is offering a can't-miss deal on subscriptions ahead of its upcoming Walmart Holiday Deals event.

Walmart's Holiday Deals event starts on the same day as Amazon's October Prime Day sale​ but lasts even longer.

Walmart is launching six days of holiday savings. Unlike Prime Day, you don't need a membership to shop the savings. Walmart+ members do get early access to the sales event and can start shopping 12 hours earlier than everyone else, but all customers can join in on the savings starting at noon ET on October 8.
