Fleury shut out the Canadiens in his final game in his home province of Quebec, earning a standing ovation lasting over two minutes.

Marc-Andre Fleury never played a game for the Canadiens, but Montreal made sure to say au revoir in its own special way.

Fleury, who grew up an hour outside town, made 20 saves and waited out a lengthy standing ovation late in the game.

Andre Fleury made 19 saves for his 76th NHL shutout, and the Minnesota Wild won their third straight game, 4-0 against the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre on Thursday. Fleury’s shutout was his first since March 14 and came in what likely was his final game here -- barring a Stanley Cup Final matchup between these teams -- and a game he asked to start.
