After watching their reshaped pitching staff get ravaged by injuries last year, the Dodgers went into this offseason looking to bolster their pitching options across the board.

The 37-year-old veteran has pitched just one inning in postseason play – a number he should be able to increase with the Dodgers next October.

The Los Angeles Dodgers added Kirby Yates to their bullpen on Thursday, agreeing to a $13 million, one-year contract with the veteran right-hander. The Dodgers also designated right-hander Ryan Brasier for assignment to make room on the team's 40-man roster.
