Disney and Hulu's first-ever Oscars livestream has already been disrupted for many prospective viewers by a frustrating glitch.

Hulu’s livestream cut off in the final moments of the show — with two major award categories, best actress and best picture, still to be announced because of a scheduling system issue. Those viewing the awards ceremony on Hulu instead saw an error code message that stated the event was over.

More than 33,000 users reported an inability to log onto Hulu just as the 97th Academy Award telecast was set to begin. Thousands more saw their stream abruptly end before the best picture award.
