The Associated Press declared that Republican Donald Trump won Wisconsin — and with it, a return to the White House — once it determined that the remaining uncounted votes mostly from the greater Milwaukee area would not be enough to allow Vice President Kamala Harris to overtake Trump for the lead.

As Wisconsin saw in their rallies in Milwaukee four days ago — and their many stops in our battleground state — their messages to America have been worlds apart. There's also a heated U.S. Senate race between Democratic incumbent Tammy Baldwin and Republican challenger Eric Hovde that could determine which party controls the Senate.

Gov. Tim Walz will speak to supporters in Wisconsin around 3:45 p.m. on the final day of campaigning ahead of the election.

Tim Walz made a campaign stop at State Fair Park after visits to La Crosse and Stevens Point. "For Milwaukee, I am here today on behalf of Kamala Harris and myself to ask you for your votes," Walz said.
