An NYPD officer and another woman were shot in Queens by an armed robbery suspect who was believed to be responsible for multiple robberies.

A New York City Police officer and a bystander were both shot in the leg in Queens on Tuesday evening, police said. The suspect was shot and killed.

A 26-year-old bystander was also shot, but both she and the officer are expected to survive, authorities said.
