A member of Penn State’s vaunted 2022 recruiting class is hitting the portal once again. Michigan State sophomore defensive end Ken Talley announced on social media Tuesday that he intends to enter the transfer portal, which officially opens next Monday.

Pete Nakos of On3 first reported Roberson’s intention to transfer on Tuesday, with the official window for transfers opening next Monday, Dec. 9. The quarterback from Orange, New Jersey, spent the 2024 season with Kansas State. This was his sixth season of college football, meaning he’ll likely need an NCAA-granted waiver to play again next year.

A player may enter his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal database to allow them to have any contact with any other college football program looking to recruit him. A player may withdraw his name from the NCAA database at any time, but the current school is not required to protect any scholarship once that player enters the database.
