A member of Penn State’s vaunted 2022 recruiting class is hitting the portal once again. Michigan State sophomore defensive end Ken Talley announced on social media Tuesday that he intends to enter the transfer portal, which officially opens next Monday.

Penn State tight end Jerry Cross will enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, his agent told On3's Pete Nakos, becoming the first player Nittany Lions player to publicly acknowledge his intention in the 2024 transfer cycle. The portal opens Dec. 9, two days after Penn State plays Oregon in the Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis.

Defensive end Ken Talley announced via social media on Tuesday he is entering the transfer portal and looking for a third school. He had 11 tackles, including three for a loss, and 1.5 sacks in 15 games over two seasons for the Spartans and has two years of eligibility remaining.
