Notre Dame has landed one of its most important commitments in the 2026 cycle with Texas wide receiver Kaydon Finley pledging to the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame beat out Texas and Texas A&M among many others to land this Aledo (Texas) High School standout.

Notre Dame will open Finley’s freshman season at Lambeau Field, where his dad Jermichael starred in his professional career.

Reddish is scheduled to make his decision on July 11th, and things seem to be falling in place for the Fighting Irish. Their main competition is Virginia Tech, where his older brother plays. Mike Mickens has valued Reddish tremendously as a versatility safety that could play nickel for a long time, and that relationship should help them win out.
