A high school football team coached by former NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is under investigation for allegedly using an ineligible player, per a report from The Palm Beach Post. The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) is looking into accusations that Miami Northwestern is using a player whose eligibility expired in the spring.

Miami Northwestern’s football team is under investigation by the FHSAA for the use of an ineligible player. The Bulls, coached by Teddy Bridgewater, play Friday.

USA Today obtained the transcript of the player at the center of the allegations and it shows the individually initally enrolled at a Miami-Dade County school back in the fall of 2020, marking this fall the ninth semester of his high school career.
