McLaren call for an inquiry into the penalty Lando Norris was given for ignoring yellow flags during the Qatar Grand Prix.

Lando Norris said he did not see the yellow flags, signaling that he should slow down, which led to him receiving a crushing 10-second stop-go penalty that wrecked his hopes of success in Sunday’s Qatar Grand Prix.

McLaren boss Andrea Stella said he could not understand the decision to hand Lando Norris an “unbelievably harsh” penalty at the Qatar Grand Prix and called for a sense of proportion to be shown to drivers.
