When the next iPhones go on sale this fall, a new report suggests that a redesign for one model could include a crowd-pleasing upgrade.

Apple made minimal design changes with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, retaining a look nearly identical to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The most noticeable difference was the introduction of the Desert Titanium colour.

Based on the latest leak, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could sport a 5,000mAh battery, which is bigger than the one on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, making it the biggest ever battery on an iPhone. This means Apple could opt for a bulky design for its top-of-the-line phone, prioritising what the users want the most – extended battery life.
