A four-vehicle crash on Interstate 45, about 10 miles south of downtown Dallas, resulted in four fatalities and significant traffic disruptions early Saturday afternoon.

A multivehicle crash involving “multiple fatalities” has Interstate 45 in southeast Oak Cliff shut down. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the crash just before 1 p.m. Saturday, a fire department spokesperson said in an email. Two people were taken to a hospital, one of whom was undergoing CPR.
