A Marshfield woman pleaded guilty to a 2022 crash where she drove head-on into another vehicle, killing a 64-year-old man while her child was in the backseat.

A woman now charged with murder after she allegedly ran down a neighbor with her car on Halloween pleaded not guilty in Albany County Court Monday. Brittany Hawkins, 34, is accused of driving onto the sidewalk near Manning Boulevard and Lark Street and striking Daquan Philips with a car she was driving before she crashed into the side of a building at the Skyline Garden Apartments.
