At least 22 deaths have been reported and millions are without power in six states as Helene makes its way inland.

Hurricane Helene tore through Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas, leaving behind a trail of devastation after the Category 4 hurricane made landfall Thursday night in the rural Big Bend in Florida, the Associated Press reported.

Hurricane Helene brought maximum sustained winds up to 140 mph and catastrophic storm surges up to 20 feet along Florida's Big Bend region as it made landfall Thursday as a Category 4 storm. At least three people have been killed.
