Daniel Ricciardo has ignited speculation about his future in Formula 1 whilst speaking to the media ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. Addressing the rumors circulating about his departure from his current team, VCARB, the Australian driver shared that while he anticipates a decision about his 2025 season shortly, he "wouldn't bet his house on it."

After losing his McLaren seat at the end of 2022, eight-time grand prix winner Ricciardo returned to F1 midway through 2023 with Red Bull’s sister team, AlphaTauri, now known as RB. He quickly set his sights on returning to the senior Red Bull team, where he raced between 2014 and 2018.

Ricciardo was axed from McLaren at the end of 2022 when he couldn’t keep pace with Lando Norris, and was replaced by Oscar Piastri. He wasn’t on the 2023 grid but made a mid-season comeback, replacing the under-performing Nyck de Vries at AlphaTauri.
