During the Delta flight from Paris to Seattle, Cheryl Myers was watching a movie when a flight attendant put a cup of coffee on a slanted tray table, the suit says.

A flight back to Seattle on Delta Air Lines for a woman from Chehalis, Washington, quickly turned traumatic in December of last year. “She’s watching a movie, flight attendant puts a cup of burning hot coffee on her food tray and it ends up in her lap,

Court documents state that when the woman asked for medical attention, flight attendants were dismissive and told her to “just go change” before handing her a bag of ice.

The flight attendants were “dismissive and displayed a lack of concern for” the Washington woman, the lawsuit says.
