Disney’s Star Wars film strategy seems lost in the desert, with plans for future movies centered around Rey as everyone else is dead.

The Rise of Skywalker may have wrapped up the Skywalker Saga that had been going ever since the Star Wars franchise launched in 1977 with A New Hope, but that doesn’t mean we’re done spending time with characters from the concluding Sequel Trilogy.

Despite being one of the biggest pop culture franchises, Disney has struggled to get many of its Star Wars films on the screen. The latest in a string of Star Wars movies facing development issues is Daisy Ridley’s new Star Wars sequel, which shares some similarities with Henry Cavill’s Superman saga.

According to “sources” at the Hollywood Reporter, she is the only valuable asset that Disney has left. I wish I were kidding. Disney took control of Lucasfilm and promptly flushed it down the toilet.
